9. Presentation preference

We will select 18 abstracts as nominees for the New Talent Award (NTA). The NTA will be awarded to the best short pitch presentation of original research on neuromuscular imaging during sessions on Thursday and Friday at the conference. It is meant to stimulate upcoming researchers in the field. The winner will get a chance to give a full 15-minute presentation of his or her topic on Saturday and a prize of €1000.-.

During the submission process you can choose if you want to submit your abstract for this award or not. If you do not want to participate or you are not selected for the award, accepted abstracts can be presented as posters. Authors of selected abstracts for the award will be asked to give a 5-minute pitch at the conference.

Because we want to stimulate high quality pitches, all selected authors will be offered a free hands-on presentation course on Wednesday evening September 16th, the day prior to the conference. We expect nominees to attend this event. The conference organization will offer one complimentary night stay at a conference hotel for all nominees.

10. Confirmation of submission

After you have submitted your abstract, you will receive a confirmation e-mail. If you do not receive a confirmation by e-mail, please contact the organizers at secretariat@mediscon.nl. The corresponding author is responsible for informing other authors about the status of the abstract.

11. Disclosures

If your research has been granted any commercial or institutional support, you will have to disclose this in the submission.

12. Bursary application
